Spiritual Me: Meditation App

For me, this app was exactly what I needed as I’m starting my spiritual journey. I recently took on Buddhism and this app has helped me to not just meditate, but understand it, and be full and a hole with my meditations. The app makes me feel like I am at Center focus, while also keeping me engaged and calm. I really really enjoy the step-by-step as well as the books. I’m able to read and explore. Huge bonus is that it keeps me accountable with the daily reminders. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the free trial, and being engaged with the app.

I have always struggled with the practice of meditation but this app is so easy to follow that it has helped me tremendously in making meditation a daily practice for me. There are daily routines that take you step by step the actions to take. Some of the exercises, like the creative expression section, are so unique that it definitely woke up a different part of my mindfulness. The voice overs guiding you along the way all have soft and peaceful voices that before you know it you have already entered into a peaceful state of mind. If you are new to the practice of meditation or are struggling to get back into it I highly recommend this app, the price point is perfect and it's so easy to follow that you will find your inner peace in no time.

Let me start by saying that this app is great and has the potential to be amazing if all the annoying bugs are fixed. The current version is really really annoying. If you accidentally go out of the session, you have to restart because it doesn’t remember where you left, that’s so annoying/aggravating and does the opposite of what meditation is supposed to do! Also when you type in a response for the self-assessment question before every session, each letter typed changes the question being asked. I also wish we had the option to choice a consistent voice for all the components of the routine. I think I’m gonna wait for an update before I use the app again because I shouldn’t be feeling frustrated at the end of a meditation session because of all the bugs.
