I tested this app on an iPhone 16 running iOS 26.2. The app is elegant for its simple, uncluttered, easy-to-read layout. But it has a major flaw—it keeps timing out. The app will spontaneously go to sleep at random intervals ranging from about 15 seconds to a few minutes. The longest I have ever seen it operate was about 10 minutes, but typically time-outs happen much more frequently. This happens in both portrait and landscape modes. The app is designed so that the speed display is always present, but it is possible to display a clock as well. The clock can be digital or analog. The analog clock works well, but the time on the digital clock never advances. It is frozen on the time when the app was started. An interesting feature is a small red dot that rides on a circle surrounding the speed display. This dot notes the direction of north. It is in error of true north by more than 30 degrees compared to the compass app that comes with the iPhone. Another feature is a vertical axis accelerometer. This takes the form of a bar graph around the speed display. It appears mostly to let you know the roughness of the road, and is of little value unless you drive off a cliff. The speed appears to be accurate to plus or minus one mile per hour (at 65 mph) as compared to a handheld Garmin GPS. The time is accurate to a couple of seconds compared to the Garmin. The latency of the speedometer response is acceptable. A separate screen functions as a trip odometer. I did not spend much time evaluating it since it seemed of little value to me. You may feel otherwise. It suffers from the same time-out problem that plagues the speedometer. This app has a lot of potential. I hope the designer can make a few tweaks to fix the issues noted above.
