This has completely changed my sourdough game. I’ve realized that 72% hydration is the sweet spot for me as a beginner — every loaf comes out perfect and consistent. The real key is having a very active starter. I feed mine twice a day. Also, this app doesn’t charge anything, which I love. With my 7.5-quart Dutch oven, I bake a double loaf, and it fills the pot perfectly. Loving this whole process and loving this app
I love the calculator vibe it has. It’s no frills but that’s why it appeals to me. Don’t forget to save your notes progress or you’ll lose them like I did! I wish there was a way to pay for it to avoid the ads on the bottom of the app though.
