This app works very nicely with the online website, with the incidental glitch here and therein accessing My Library, which I personally find easier to use on my iPad via Safari. I have purchased two “courses” rather than just listen to the free version because the content load is so high and there have just been too many segments for me to totally process in one sitting. The courses I generally listen to seem aimed at practitioners rather than me (as a client/ patient) so they are much deeper and for me, much more interesting, than other talks. I have been through several different therapeutic approaches until I finally found the right therapist, with the right diagnosis and lots of tools. So, I’ve found it extremely useful for me to have a deep understanding of how and when different techniques are most successful.
I have never before encountered such a well designed app to receive course instruction. It supports flowing through the process and provides needed self feedback. I have not encountered any glitches that would tend to bump one out of the process and be an impediment to absorbing and implementing the teachings. This app reinforces the material and provides an easy way to apply and integrate it. I love this app and also Michael Singer’s course. I am so grateful to Michael and Sounds True. This course has changed my life. I am better able to stand back and observe the chattering of the emotional mind that kept me stuck on the hamster wheel of fear and suffering. I know true peace and joy.
Update: I wrote this review awhile back, and since then courses have become available to download sessions or stream in the app. Awesome! Truly one of the best apps available! If you ever bought any downloads or courses from Sounds True, be sure and get this app! The course videos even list how big the file is for downloading. Great for those of us who max our space on our mobile devices. I hope they do same for individual programs purchased some day. Cheers! Hochima Prior header was "Wonderful App! Wish It Included Courses" For being a conduit to audio and video purchased from Sounds True, this app is elegantly designed. Love it! I do wish it either included the digital courses too, or there was a companion app that included the courses, which could operate like the Udemy or iTunes U app. Also would be nice to see each file size and how much space is available on one's iPad/iPhone. I suspect this might clear up some of the negative reviews. On its own merits for what this app was designed for, it is nice to see my purchases and have access to them. Cheers!
