It appears that this was corrected with the update. Thank you! I have enjoyed this game for a few years. I paid for the premium version as it is a simple way for me to relax and wind down after working all day. Suddenly, in the past 24 hours, I am seeing ads again. It is annoying to wait through the ads to continue playing. My game still shows as owning the premium version. I have reached out to the developers through the in-game contact. I will update this rating if and when I hear back from them.
Good app! The version seems to simulate well the experience of playing using an actual deck of cards in the “real world.” The other solitaire apps are too easy and thus poor replications of real-world playing. In the other solitaire apps, aces are always part of the first few deals or deck selections and you can actually repeatedly draw every card you need in order as you play. Foolish easy no challenge unrealistic! But this app is pretty good. You can’t win all the time. You can use skill instead of simple drawing of the cards laid out by the app in the easiest - most impractical, unrealistic and improbable fashion. This app presents a real challenge because is best duplicates what players of solitaire experience when they play the game non-virtually using an actual real-world deck of cards. Good app!
One star off because I think that this version is possibly rigged. I don't see the reason for rigging a game where there's no actual money (or any currency at all) involved. Another star off because after playing for a while, I was really enjoying this game, and then one day it started playing thirty second ads all the freaking. time. You would finish a game, it would play an ad, you would press the play button, it would play an ad... ugh. It didn't play ads until today. It does let you play your own music though. I had a really good version that I found out quickly that you couldn't play your own music. So I recommend this app if you turn off the data for it or play it off of WiFi. If not, not recommended.
