SOCAR Malaysia

I recently rented a car from SOCAR malaysia and my experience was frustrating. I needed to return the car to a different location due to a change in my travel plans, but they don't allow one-way returns. This was not made clear when I booked. There was a feature called “car pick-up” which turns out it doesn’t even work and it caused a major hassle. I ended up having to drive all the way back to the original location, wasting time and adding unnecessary mileage. I’m not going to rent from them for a while.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THE SERVICE!!! Deserve no stars at all! The cars were filthy. -First car: with leftover McDonald’s iced drink in the cup holder, fries (crumbs), dirty carpets, MCD receipts, etc. On top of that, it was a faulty car due to broken horn… -Second car: Saw a baby cockroach, used tissues left in the car… Poor Customer Service and No Communication within the Organization! I reported and provided all the documentation on April 17 and until today, my case has not been completely resolved. I had to chase them for my monies which they promised to be refunded per the phone conversation dated 17 April 2022. I had to keep repeating my complaint and provided the documents over and over again to their live chat agents every time I spoke to them, as though the matter was a new complaint. I could literally write a book on this. For those who want to know more about my experience, please feel free to reach out to me.
