Snowboard Party: Aspen

I love snowboarding and during the summer, when I can’t this game helps me still keep motivated and ready for next season! Through the graphics, different levels and more this game is overall a fun one. I definitely recommend it! However, this game is not as fun as the original, “snowboard party” that game is more fun, and easier to get new levels (in my opinion). I completely recommend playing both games!

Another update: One level is impossible to get the “Y” because nothing happens when you hit it. Another level asks to get 20 snowflakes but there is never more than 13 at a time. They slowly seem to be fixing issues but it’s a little frustrating. They were able to give me the prize boxes that were purchased and lost which is appreciated. Bumped up to 3 stars due to continued gameplay glitches. Me again... recent update wiped out all of my progress and forced me to start over. Very frustrating. Had all but 2 tracks unlocked, stats all at 50 or greater, and all is lost. Used a gift card to purchase boxes and boards... all gone! Update again: most recent update crashes game upon launch... Update: response from developer stated the issues would be fixed with the most recent update... still not fixed. Lowered to 1 star. Pretty disappointed. Too many glitches. Impossible to collect the amount of stars needed as they don’t have as many as needed to complete. Constantly need to restart the game because ads freeze. Trick needed is 2x Grab and I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to figure this out to no avail. I’ve played every snowboard party game and was pretty excited for this one but it’s getting to be unplayable. .

There are way too many snaking half-pipes and quarter-pipes in all snowboard party games, which makes the level design boring. I don’t care about going down a whole run that is one long half pipe, and the slope style courses should be modeled after typical slope style courses or backcountry slopes. There are literally no real-life slopestyle courses that have several 100 foot long quarter pipes. Make the levels with more creative natural and man-made features (eg like those in Steep and ssx). Make a whole mountain that can be unlocked one level at a time, but that can be ridden from top to bottom in one run once the associated levels are unlocked. Create more interesting level objectives. Maybe search for geo-caches instead of the letters for “party”. Make a level where you need to get down a snowy cave with a headlamp, or down a run loaded with rocks to avoid, in the fog where obstacles are hard to see. Make a level with tons of long rails to grind and make rail grinding easy. Make a level with thin air that you have to get down quickly, or a level where you have to avoid shade and try to stay in the sun to avoid freezing, use a wing suit to cross large gaps, or an ice pick to turn well on icy parts of the level. I would pay a significant amount of money for a good mobile snowboarding game. I like the graphics of snowboard party and the leveling up system. The tricks are okay, but not interesting enough to entertain on the completely boring level designs.
