If you are looking to schedule text messages for free without jail breaking your phone this app is it! It's easy and straight forward to use. If you can text you can use this. This does not automatically send the message! But cmon don't be a complete anti social robot communicating with other people. When the reminder goes off you can view it and it takes you to a new SMS message with your scheduled message text typed out and the scheduled contact already selected. YOU JUST HIT SEND! You can even edit the message if necessary. And to top it off it's free.
Usually, I would appreciate a simple concept app for sending future texts. But not today. This app isn't bad, but it doesn't quite do the job. I don't mind that it sends you a reminder to send the text (vs automatically sending it itself), but I really wish it would offer an alert sound when the reminder pops up. I personally don't check my phone every other minute - which is why I downloaded this app in the first place. Also, as others have mentioned, if you're on the phone when the alert pops up, it disappears immediately, offering no further reminders. For someone who actually needs a clear reminder to send a text, this app doesn't quite cut it.
I suggest changing notification settings from banner to alert and to show on locked screen. You schedule the text then the app pops up in the iPhone native text message app and gives you the opportunity to edit it before pressing send. You must press send yourself it schedules texts but does not send without your interaction. There is a problem with the contact field, if you press the button to add a contact, contacts appear, but you must copy/paste them b/c if you click the app shuts down and you loose your progress. I checked settings > privacy > contacts and this app isn't even listed as an app that requests permission to your contacts. Probably a programming glitch. If I was able to search and add contacts w/o copy/paste I would recommend this to others. Sadly it's not a complete product and requires work around. iOS 10.0.2, iPhone 6s
