Silhouette Art

The Idea and premise of this game is good but the execution is not. This app doesn’t allow you really any creative freedom. After the first few levels it allows you to choose the silhouette that you want to do. But before that you can’t choose. And most of the time you can’t choose the color scheme and when you do you only have three options and to do two out of the three options you have to watch an add. You also don’t get to choose the silhouette that goes on the inside. You don’t truly get to make the art. The ONE good thing is that the end result looks good and you can tell whoever truly made the art for this game put a lot of time and effort into it. This game is not what I was looking for but with a few changes I think it could be really good and fun. A few changes are letting the player choose the color scheme without having only three options and having to watch an add for two of them. Another change that I would like is being able to choose the inside silhouette. There are also a lot of Adds and when you say no to getting something by watching an add you end up watching an add anyways. So that would be another thing to improve this game. With those changes I think this game would be awesome and really fun.

I was enjoying the app, although there are lots of ads. I understand the need for ads to keep free apps free and generally don’t mind them, but it was way too many pop-ups for me. Then I thought it was worth it to get the premium “ad-free” one time purchase, especially when there was a pop-up for a one time deal of $2.99 instead of $4.99 for the premium. The nice thing is no banners and pop-up ads, but in order to get new tools, you have to “choose” to watch an ad or you lose the tool. Also, if you want a particular frame, you have to “choose” to watch an ad, or you don’t get use it, and you have to “choose” to watch an ad if you want 200+ coins instead of 30 or 40 coins, plus you have to choose to watch an ad to get “premium” pictures to paint. I believe the devs saying that the game is ad-free if you pay for ad-free is misleading if you still need to watch ads to get certain things, especially new tools and paintings. I would have rated this 5stars if it wasn’t for the misleading offer for an ad-free playing experience. Right now I’m on the fence about the game, hence the 3stars.

Like in the title this is one of the best games on my iPad but there’s some things that could be improved and no I’m not like one of the people who says reduce the ads. Because to me that’s a totally bearable. The reason I think you need some improvement on the app it’s just a little feature to help the player engage more with the game. They should be able to choose their artists avatar or maybe create their own painting because everything in the game you can’t choose you just can select which painting you want to do. Though this is one of my favorite games and I get if you can’t do this I know it takes a lot of work to make a game and a lot of money to so I’m sorry if this is just another one of the review requesting something but I love this game and that’s the only reason I think it should be improved.
