Shopping List: Grocery To Do

This is a basic list which is perfect for what I needed. But they recently added ads to it, then a few weeks later added a payment option to remove ads. Reminds me of old mafia extortion tactics: Rough you up, then come in and say we’ll protect you from the attacks for a fee. You are only paying to remove the intentional annoyance that they added not any great features that have been added or updated because there aren’t any, it’s just a plain list. And they want 8 bucks for this? No thanks. I’ve used this for a couple of years but have deleted as this company shows a lack of integrity. You have to wonder, what are they doing with your personal data they collect? Maybe it’s coincidence but since I’ve uninstalled it, I am no longer getting 10 to 15 spam calls and text every single day. Beware of this company/person.

This is a plain and simple app that leaves you in control. It’s like a blank piece of lined paper. You write the list. You don’t have to pick from a preset list of grocery items. You can make sections simply by typing a dash for one line, put your title on the next line, and type a dash on the next. Then you have a GROCERIES, THINGS TO DO, TO DO LATER, ect. The order of your list of things can be rearranged. If you decide you want your fruit item at the top of the list instead of in the middle, simply hold your finger on the item and the list goes to edit mode which allows you to move things around. Great app! Simple and totally efficient!

My last shopping list had categories to place items by category. (I couldn’t get it with this phone). That way a shopper can shop store easily using categories. Your list requires shoppers to keep going through entire list to be sure items needed from different areas in store have been marked off as gotten. I do not like your shopping list & will look for another.
