I have downloaded like all of the habit trackers and daily planners. If you are looking for one that is simple, the cost is actually reasonable (even if you don’t pay you get the features you need to) & will keep track of your progress, this app is the one. The others are all way too over done and so much more expensive. I get very easily distracted and more importantly annoyed with apps that are doing things I didn’t ask it to trying to get my attention. This one does not. It notifies me if I ask it to for what I ask it to and lets me very simply keep track of what I am doing without having to jump through hoops of questions when I open the app. It’s wonderful, just what I was looking for. PLEASE never change what I am praising here. It is, in my opinion what makes it so wonderful! Simple is better.
I’ve tried a few habit trackers but none of them have felt right to me. I either had to use another app along side them or the interface just didn’t work for me. ShineDay is the only habit trackers I’ve used that has hit every single mark and more. I could write out everything I love about this app but it would take forever to read. Just download it, it’s free. Explore the different features and if you love it (this is my favorite part) the monthly/yearly rates are a VERY fair price OR YOU CAN MAKE A ONE TIME PAYMENT TO HAVE IT FOREVER which is my favorite thing that developers do. I do hope more design options are added eventually although I love the simplicity of the layout and hope that doesn’t change. Other than that I genuinely hope they never change anything about this app. It’s perfect.
Don’t listen to the user complaining about “fake reviews” and the broken English. It’s still understandable even though it’s not perfect and while there are some Chinese characters left untranslated, I just take it as a good opportunity to learn the script and some vocab words lol. I adore the nice aesthetics and the cute icons and the little “rewards” and quotes you get for completing a task. The option to add a note after checking off a task is a nice feature and something I don’t find with a lot of the other trackers. There’s the flexibility with the timing of habits (option to measure by day of the week or # times per week) and the premium price is just 4.99 for a year so perfect for students. So glad i stumbled across this app!
