This game is fun. I even preordered it, but deleted it and decided I will come back later. It has evolved a lot, but there is just too much pay to win. I am in the early stage, silver 5, on world 3. But even with the amount of prizes you get in completing the adventure mode, these will become increasingly less valuable as you continue to play. Most of the fun that comes with this game is it’s multiple characters, which you have to pay for. You can also pay to get weapons that deal up to 30,000 damage per hit, or entire ultimate sets which in the early game, is impossible to beat, because of how the pvp works. It’s the same thing as pve. You slash, but not much dodging. So most fights just come down to who can jump on the other first, or who has the shorter cooldown. I do like the game at my stage so far, but I do see how this game will inevitably hit a wall. Players will stop, because it’s mindless spamming for pvp. Unless you guys somehow manage to pull through with adding more or changing pve, this game, as I’ve said before, will hit a wall. You have already exhausted most of what you can put in mid game and early game for pvp, so now you have to add things to only late game players for pvp. Though, there is a sliver of hope through overhauling or additions to pve. Along with the fact that people will get bored of playing the same character.
I preordered the game and don’t regret it. But it does have some problems. I got an uncommon Soul Eater for Max before the end of the first dungeon and after magic+ weapons became available, the game just stopped dropping weapons in battle period. I had to use some of my gems after hitting hard mode because my damage was not getting the job done and I don’t think the vendor sells anything higher than uncommon items. The exp system is a little... iffy. I have the max skill points I can have invested in exp up and it still gives me only a tiny portion of my bar each fight. I’m not expecting to level up with each encounter but the first two or three levels you could watch your bar get a decent bit filled each battle but then when you’re needing a level up because you can’t get better gear and wyvern is kicking your backside, it’s not the best time. I’m a little confused about what happened to the story. It starts setting this world up and hen you have three levels and that’s it? It’s a bit baffling. And the wyvern’s desperation move is a bit hard to dodge when it comes up through the floor since you can’t see it and the hit box is not clear at all. But other than that, I’ve spent half my day playing this instead of being productive, so it’s doing something right.
So. It’s been 25 minutes after the game released. Why was I awake at this hour, i don’t got a clue. I was actually going to sleep when I received the notification that the game just released. This was a game I waited for a while because it looked super interesting and fun. Well tonight I get to take it for a spin. Let me say... this game is awesome. To me it feels balanced, smooth, and overall fun. The graphics and animations look amazing. The only thing I have against it is the energy, but it’s there for a reason and I respect the devs with that decision for whatever reason. The skills and runes do a good job with detailed explanations. Also I’m not a friend of the devs that was asked to put down a good 5 star review. I’m a random person who is having fun with the game and giving a heartfelt honest review. Also devs, if you’re reading this... keep up the amazing work. That’s all I got and I hope to see awesome things in the future! :)
