This helped me create a workout routine from scratch for the first time in my life. I like how easygoing the 30 secs on, 15 off rhythm is, but you still feel it. It's a solid, reliable, clean app without annoying ads. I paid for the full version and never do that with apps. it's worth it to be able to create my own series of exercises.
I have several limitations (back/neck issues from a car accident, hip issues from child birth, wrist issues from tendinitis/carpel tunnel/bone graft following broken scaphoid, and 2 csections plus a hysterectomy 10 weeks ago. I have been looking for an app for the last 6 years that has modifications, no equipment needed, ability to start slow from very basic movements and one exercise at a time with rest between to allow my body to catch up. This is the only app I have found that checked all the boxes. My 3 year old, 6 year old and hubby all do it with me. The only 3 things I recommend and hope can eventually be added is a modification for neck/vertigo since going from floor to standing multiple times is triggering for vertigo as well as laying completely flat. Second would be an ability to link friends to the same exercise routine to workout together more easily. Finally, it’d be great if I removed a particular plan from the day I can add another workout in its place. Thank you for this app. I am recommending the app to all of my clients, family and friends. I sound like I have stocks in it or getting financial gain or commission on it I am recommending it so much!! :).
Hello, I am a young woman who’s been going to the gym for a while now (even though I’m still definitely a beginner/intermediate), and 7 is truly one of the best things I’ve done for my health. It has wonderful exercises for all levels and sizes, man or woman, and all kinds of people. Want to start stretching? Plenty of awesome stretching exercises. Want to get some abs? Literally like 50 workouts DEDICATED to core and back workouts. It also has plenty of workouts that target one area of your body without making you feel like a total loser. My family has the family plan and we absolutely love it and I’ve gotten a friend to join as well. I know it can be a bit pricey, but just think about how it’s only 30-45 bucks for a yearly payment and you have access to workouts galore. Most gyms have a membership plan that’s outrageous compared to that. If your not into paying that much, that’s fine. But I’m telling you, this is your chance to be someone better, and 7 can help with that. Don’t ever give up no matter how much you burn (bc lemme tell you sometimes I’m hurting for days afterwards 😂) and GET THIS APP. They did a great job in it and deserve your patronage. Sincerely, JunilantOwl
I’m LOVING this app and all the nice ppl on it. I js hit the 4 month achievement, and every few months you can unlock a new work out so that you don’t have to buy the premium plan. It also gives track of how many hours you’ve done in the past seven days, 30 days, or the whole time you’ve had the app. My favorite part is the fact that you can skip up to three days a month and/or recover those days that you lost so that you stay in the *seven month challenge. I also love that it keeps track of how long you’ve worked out every single day and I just reached 105 days, it helps me stay motivated to go on a 15 minute walk or go on a 30 minute run. Even though it asks for you to be 18+ you can still be any age and it will work just fine. I’ve told my friends abt this app and a few of them got it. Overall, it gets a 5 star from me. * The seven month challenge is where they track your progress for seven months and once you reach seven months, you get an achievement, and after that, it can still track your progress and see how far you can go without missing any work out days.
I wish more than one free workout was accessible without paying for the app, but I like it well enough to have used it off and on for several years. (For one thing, it's refreshing that it doesn't have images of underclothed people doing workouts, which distracts from my purpose for exercising.) The Full Body workout is consistently doable and customizable for length of time for each exercise, so I can increase the time as I build strength. I alternate this with yoga and walking.
I've used this for over a year now. Haven't missed a day. The 7 minute workout default helps you maintain if you have a good diet, proper sleep, and if you do it EVERY DAY. The app is nice because it helps you stick to the every day part. Wish they would move away from subscriptions for other workouts, but the free one is all you need. Daily I do two circuits of 50s exercises with 5s rest between. That has kept me in great shape and surprisingly boosted my endurance.
