ScanBizCards - Lite

Update: When entering or editing the fields of a card, the app seems to want to move the current active edit field behind the graphic of the card, making the edit field unviewable to you. If you know what you're entering or editing and can manage to get the cursor where it will work, then you're all set. Else, nope. Don't know if this is due to new iOS or app not keeping up, but they were doing so well... And does everything it promises. But one way I use it was not advertised; I use it to keep entry's info OUT of my address book. Sure I want to save info on people I meet, but don't need to fill my address book (of over 1200 entries already) with one time meets. So this is my 'just in case' secondary db.

I suspect that I've use this for about three years first as the light version and then as the paid version. I rarely give comments on apps. But I felt that this one needed and deserved some commendation. I am a performer who also does a lot of public relations work for myself and of the artist. This app is a godsend when it comes to all of those people who give me their cards and say send me some information on you. This allows me to do it in the car in the parking lot often before I leave the event. I love it.!

I have been using the lite version of the app for several months, and it is really good. It reads the cards correctly about 80% of the time. I needed to export my contacts, which they say the Pro version of the app can do. I paid the fee for the Pro version, and it did not work. It says it can export to excel or outlook. I tried dozens of times and it didn’t work. It said it had worked, but the exported file was nowhere to be found. When I reached out to their support team, they were no help. Sent a video of exactly what I had already tried multiple times, but offered no other solution. In fact they told me that no other customer has had this issue. I guess they’re calling me a liar? Very poor customer service. Do not pay for the Pro version.
