SAT Prep by Ready4

I was extremely excited to begin preparing myself for the SAT with a free app that provides helpful practice problems and feedback; however, the app advertisement was incredibly misleading. After practicing for only a few days and completing every task, the app demanded for me to pay a subscription in order to continue. I was very disappointed after thinking I finally had a way to improve my studies without needing to pay extraneous money. I’m sure if one were to continue the course by upgrading their account, they would find many resources to improve their scores. I do not want to pay 20 dollars or possibly more for a single app that prepares me for one test. I’ll have to find a different tutor or a better app.

I’ve had this app for a couple months now, and it really helps. The app trains you to work fast and efficient while still being thorough. The grammar is very similar, however the english comprehension was a different format. I wish they added for practice in the english section rather than grammar. I love that it lets you customize which schools you want to go to, and tells you what you need to get into them. The initial placement test is quite unrealistic, as they base your baseline score off of 5 questions. But overall, a great app that really helps!

As a 99%+ scorer for reading and writing, I can tell you that these questions aren't realistic. The math section is question by question which is great, but unlike the real SAT, the reading and writing questions on this app are all divided, too. For instance, to answer one question you'll have to read an entire paragraph. And then I'll do that again for separate passages and questions, all in under 4 minutes. For grammar, it works. However the whole reading and writing section needs to have the same passage to answer questions off of... I shouldn't be scoring lower on these practice problems when my actual SAT is higher.
