SAILS Mobile

The SAILS app used to work the way it’s supposed to work. Now it works a bit but two important function are failing: I can no longer see my holds and checkouts even though I know they are there. I can set a hold, just can’t see it using the app on my iPhone 8 and iPad. (I can view these functions going through the library web site on my desktop.) I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Same results. Please fix this app.

I like this new version. It’s much better to maneuver around. Plus side is it auto renews your books for you. Which is good cause sometimes I forget. I also take care of my kids accounts. So remembering to renew 3 accounts is hard. Down side is it renews it 3-5 days early. So you basically loose 3-5 days with the book.

The updated SAILS app is a big improvement. It’s not the most sophisticated or intuitive design, but it does the job—you can see your account information, search for books, etc. without having to go onto the library’s web site.
