I was really enjoying this game but lately Iโve noticed that the robot opponent holds back laying down cards to open. I just donโt get it. After about 3 or 4 turns I went out before the robot opened, giving me 100 points. When I looked at the robotโs hand, there was over 120 points just sitting there. Why? This was not the first time the robot didnโt play. I just donโt get it, and itโs certainly not fun playing against nobody. (I donโt like to play with real people, so always play solo.) Please fix this! UPDATE: I think it only happens in expert mode. I lowered the bar to intermediate and it hasnโt happened again, BUT Iโm still winning every hand easily. A little challenge would be nice. AND ONE MORE THING: where are the rules for the different versions?
I enjoy playing against people and their various styles of play. The game is the same as my childhood version, but some players are used to gin rummy which is a challenge and makes the game more interesting. I have played the version you can invite friends to play and have played my daughter, who lives in Ohio, while I was in Georgia. My only complaint is you used to be able to see your ranking against other players. I would literally play for hours to get below 50 and as close as possible to the top ten players. But for several weeks now, it just says loading and never loadsโฆit took some of competitive joy out of playing when you donโt know where you rank.
1)Sound: Low background music, card sounds are needed (Nothing to distracting). 2)Scoring: Have the calculations of cards that are properly melded together in hand of the player visible before they place on the table. 3)More melding options: - Normal (must have 51 points to meld) - Advanced (first person to meld must have 51 points, other players must one up on the points after each meld) For example, let's say I come down with the first meld of 51 points, the next person that comes down needs to place 52 point or higher. Furthermore, let's say the second person places 66 points on the table than the third person must have 67 points or higher before coming down. In continuous, let's say the third person places 73 points down than the one person that hasn't came down must have 74 points or higher before coming down on the table. Only players that have melded and came down can add a card or more on to other melds that are on the table even if it's a meld from other players. 4)More joker options: (If Ace card is used as joker, this option goes away). -Use joker card as joker.... (if yes) How many jokers to be used in a game (0, 1, 2, 3 or 4) (If Joker Card is used as joker, this option goes away) -Use Ace cards as Joker... (if yes) Dealer shows one regular card face out (sticking out) under the draw pile (NOT AN ACE) with whatever suit. Let's say the 2โฃ๏ธ is the card being shown under the draw pile. The number shown is irrelevant only the suit is relevant. The known joker would than be the Aโฃ๏ธ. This card will be whatever the player wants it to be (the joker). The joker card than become the regular Ace of whatever the suit shown under the draw pile is, but CAN NOT be used as a joker.
