RRS Ivoks

I can now recommend this app. They have implemented global preset management, which means you can create a preset, save it in the Ivoks app, and retrieve the preset in any other host apps. Yes! I really would love to use this in stand-alone mode, but it still just runs as a useless “demo”. I’m giving it 5 stars, however, for the preset fix and for the sound quality.

I love this company, this synth, this digital version. I would greatly welcome the return of the duophonic mode. I may be in the minority but it is much more raw and cool than four voice poly. The way the envelopes work in a Duo synth. Not the same as only playing two notes at a time on a poly.

This is an excellent sounding synth, one of the best on iOS for bass especially. It’s got that unique “Soviet” character to it (not to mention a great filter) that makes it stand apart from the crowd. 4-voice polyphony is also on the way soon in an update according to the dev (as of now it is duophonic/mono/mono unison).
