Road to Hana: Maui Audio Tours

The tour itself was awesome. We found the music a bit annoying but that’s just a personal preference. We are older and couldn’t hear unless we turned the volume up so the music got irritating. I was glad we could turn it off. The tour guide told us everything we could have hoped to know. It gave us tips about spots you would only expect from a local. There’s only one reason I am giving 4 stars and it is not the fault of the app. On the road to Hana, we kept losing cell service and we missed a few spots. All in all, I was very happy with the app itself. Update…I received a response from the developer explaining that the tour should be fully downloaded before going on the road to Hana to avoid the loss of information when there was no internet access. I’m not very tech savvy but I’m sure most people are better at it. It was my error that I didn’t follow instructions fully so I’ll change my review to 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed this tour. And the fact that it would just pick up as you were driving along the road. My one tip to the narrator is to stop telling you to keep “driving straight”. As the road is incredibly curvy! So giving different directions or just saying follow the highway would be much more accurate! LOL. There could be more variety in between beginnings and ends as well. But the detours were all worth it and the details were great! Would love a route that did full loop, too!
