I read posts in my HOA Facebook page every week where people question, “Has thrash or recycling been picked up?” Or they don’t know that weeks with certain holidays, the pick up may be delayed for a day. They act like our wonderful waste disposal team have purposely forgotten or skipped them. It’s quite embarrassing how some of them rage on. If they had this app and link their calendar, they will know when pick up is scheduled. They will know which week is recycling week. And they could stop posting their unfounded frustrations to Facebook.
I was hired by a Home Owners Association to move their resident trash bins and bags on their curbs on the appropriate days and time. And then to put them away after the trash trucks have been by. This app allows me to plan ahead which I find very useful. I especially like the recycling reminders. Those are great. That way I can set the reminders in my calendar on my iphone and don't have to worry about it.
App does help. Your Pick Up Crews are really great too. We moved here in September and the yard wasn’t maintained very well. Completely over grown. We have a large yard too. The crews have been picking up larger piles of trimmings, pine needles (48 yard bags largest collection), tree limbs cut to required lengths and tree stumps cut to size. This isn’t normal. Anyway you get the picture. Your crews have always been friendly. Even very late into the day (6 pm) a couple of times. Make sure to give them thank yous from me. Woodlake resident.
