This app makes it easy to keep track of every minute aspect of releasing music. You could spend weeks and weeks to find this information online and try to piece it together on your own in a manageable order (but still probably miss a few things AND get overwhelmed). Or you can just go through every step on this app with the appropriate links setup for you already here, save yourself TONS of time, get your music out faster, and get results sooner! I vote for this app!

Cheryl Englehardt is widely considered to be a guru of all things indie music, and this app she created is BRILLIANT. It gives artists step by step instructions for how to successfully release their music without all the overwhelm that can so quickly take over if you (like most of us) aren’t signed to a record label. It’s simple and easy to follow. I really like that the “next steps” are actually locked, so that you can’t race ahead until you’ve done the preceding step. This is key to helping avoid overwhelm. She even includes steps that invite you to do some calming techniques. She really gets what it’s like to be in the midst of a release because she’s DONE it! Well done, Cheryl & team, and thank you!!

I know this process will change everything about how I release music and it has already improved my sustainability and success. Cheryl knows the music business inside and out and she knows every pitfall we are prone to because she is a musician and works with musicians every day. She has really thought of everything!
