The more expensive than I expected for an app for stories and then always trying to promote their VIP just to read a short story

Do not fall for this app. They will give you the hardest time trying to cancel. And to be fair, I still haven’t been able to cancel my subscription. They don’t respond to any form of communication and they’re telling you how you should be able to cancel it by going into your subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel that way, but funny story it’s not there because they make you go through a website for your Apple Pay and then make it absolutely impossible for you to get a hold of anyone to cancel

I tried out the lower cost, few days trial VIP through PayPal. The method the app said to use to cancel didn’t work, it didn’t show up, and it didn’t show up as a subscription either in PayPal. I was able to figure it out through the payments screen on PayPal on my computer (through the settings option). I initially submitted a report with PayPal but have rescinded it, seems like there was just some disconnect with how PayPal rendered the payment. I should be good to go, I’ll know soon for sure. I wish you could just cancel it through the app.
