The app is requesting to send an sms from registered mobile number which is in Indian number. Being an NRE account there should be a way to login via other methods of verification because it is basic that NRIs will not have Indian number for verification almost always. The app needs to do better to let NRI customer use the app. Something changed recently as earlier I had no issues logging in.
I doubt that this app is developed understanding the needs of NRIs. I gorgpt my pin so I was not able to login. To change pin when you have forgot your old pin, you need to send message from your registered mobile number to verify yourself but then the verification fails as they cannot identify your mobile number. I had did this process couple of times and it had failed. So I can’t login to the app. I think it was not the case with the old app. In addition if you have a PIS Account the balance shown in the dashboard is same as your new account. I don’t know what is RBLs thought process to do so, is it intentional or a bug? I have brought this concern to the customer service but no one has corrected it or explained why it is so. So during my next visit to INDIA my first priority is to close the RBL account and move my NRI accounts to a more reliable bank.
2.0 version look wise is good but the way the screen(mobile) is designed is not so good. Firstly the half of mobile screen is not used at all, which leaves user to scroll the second half of the screen for seeing transactions.
