Quran IQ: Arabic Learning App

I finally decided to start learning to read arabic during the Ramadan so I can inshaAllah read Qur’an, and after trying out 4-5 apps I finally settled down. This app is absolutely amazing and I love it. For a total beginner like me the lessons accompanied by quizes are very easy. I love how you have to take the quiz before advancing to the next level, and even though now I decided to go for the Pro version and I can unlock any lesson I want, I still go through step by step without skipping anything. Sometimes you may feel like there are too many questions to answer during a lesson, but I think that it’s actually good because practice makes perfect. May Allah grant Jannah to whoever made this app!

Asalamulaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakathu to my dear brothers and sisters, I have been using this app for the past year and have learned many Surahs through it Alhumdollilah. It works by teaching the vocab words that an ayah consists of with the meanings of them and then testing you on the ayah whether you can write the meaning. This technique really works for me and the amount I have learned in just one year I never thought in my life I would ever learn. May Allah SWT make this app a means for the developers to enter Jannatul Firdous. Ameen. Please install it when you get some free time and start with Surah Fatihah to understand how it works InshAllah.

This is the first app in Quran education I have used so I cannot give it five stars since I don’t have a valid comparison point; however, I have used several apps in other categories and have based my assessment on user friendliness and simplicity, which allows a novice student of Quran to gain profound insight. Quran IQs short lessons allow one to learn and remember Surahs, but the structure also breaks down Surahs into each Arabic word - or groups of words depending on the sentence - which allows one to learn the meaning of the Quran while memorizing the text. Learning Arabic is a must to truly understand, appreciate, and be moved by the Quran. I’m shocked by the number of Muslims who can recite the Quran but have no knowledge what they are saying. This apps allows one to truly become familiar with the Quran. Will it make one a scholar? No, but it will give many the chance to go beyond blindly singing Surahs and give new followers an easy and convenient way to educate themselves. I introduced the app to a new Muslim brother, and he could not contain his happiness at being able to learn so readily. Alhamdulillah.
