Purple Diary: Journal & Lock

Looking for an alternative for Day One, on which I experienced ongoing technical issues. This is a nice alternative. The interface is spare, which I find more appealing. And it has all the tools I need for daily journaling. A good find.

The Calendar will not seem to move to the next day and allow me to make an entry. When I've made an entry on a previous day. I can click on entries and go back to calendar and it will move to the day I click on. It's no big deal. just a side note. I like the simplicity of it I just want to jot down my day's highlights

I really liked this app and was super excited to see the features of the new update, but when I logged in, I didn't see any of my journal entries and now I'm disheartened. I had such great things written out and now it's lost... I don't know how to get it back either. What happened to all of my entries? Update to developers response: Unfourtunally, your response is not only very late, but unhelpful. The only thing that I used on this app was a passcode to get into my dairy. Meaning, I don't believe I made an "account" on this app. I never sent information to whatever backup system you have for this app because I personally don't trust anything that can be hacked and used against me. Which has happened in the past and, I'm sure you would understand this, I still get spam and hackers calling and texting my phone religiously. So forgive me for not finding your response to my problem helpful or relevent. I won't be downloading this app again, which isn't against you or your app, and I'll have everything in a physical form for now on. You do not have to respond to this review, though I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my first review regardless. Thank you.
