Purge: Porn Blocker & Safe DNS

So I don’t need a lot of the pay services and I don’t mean just from this app really from any of the blocking apps. I understand that that’s how app developers make money to continue to maintain their apps or create better products or whatever, but in this instance, I literally just don’t want to be able to go to or view any pornography. This is for myself it’s for my children if they happen to get a hold of my phone, I just don’t want it around me. This app does a good job of that. I am not able to the problem is I can’t even go to a counseling website I’ve been trying to research Christian counselors and it will not let me go to those websites to find them. This is ridiculous. You need to allow your users more. I should be able to say this site was just blocked stop blocking it. It should be a simple as that I’ve tried listing using exact web page addresses, and it does not work. I really want to keep using this but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to.

This app is exactly what I was looking for in a firewall/VPN application. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I would love to see it have the capability of blocking somewhat explicit images across applications as well (such as instagram). I tested this software out, and after playing around with it I found that by enabling blocking of Facebook apps (found in the block list) it even blocked access to explicit sites within Meta’s privately developed browser that is innate to its apps. This is a huge game changer worth the small price tag. If the developers of this app truly read feedback and try to incorporate it into making the app better, please, please, please incorporate the ability to block somewhat explicit (or suggestive) images. I know it may boil down to self control, but I also am aware that unwanted ads on instagram that have suggestive themes based on very little clothing can cause a hang up for some; thus, the suggestion. Otherwise, keep up the amazing work!

This app seems to do exactly what I would hope for. It does a fantastic job blocking unwanted content across all apps. The only issue is that after a few hours it will block all access to the internet until you pay for the pro version. The app itself offers a free upgrade if you leave a review - I'll find out soon if this is true. Note that the app can be deleted unless you set the restriction settings on the phone to prevent the user from deleting apps. **UPDATE** My app was upgraded to pro after writing this review. I assume this is a limited time offer, but it's very much appreciated. Filter works like a charm!
