ptTranslator for Portuguese

I have used the pTTranslator app since 2021 when my husband and I moved to Portugal. It is still my favorite translator app. It’s fast, professional and easy to use and learn. There are wonderful additions like how to pronounce the alphabet and daily conversations. I used this app to help me with my Portuguese language classes. If you’re looking to learn Portuguese correctly you should get this app. You will be amazed and happy you did.

This sounds super fake but it’s not , The best app ever. There’s almost no translations for European Portuguese on the Internet that are as accurate as these I would know as a Portuguese person. I know that no translator is perfect but this one is pretty close to perfect it’s super good. Matter where you are or when you’re there you can use the translator to communicate to the locals in Portugal. What’s a super great for pronunciation because a lot of people struggled with learning European Portuguese because of the nasal sounds and pronunciations of certain letters. This app is a great job of using an audio of how to pronounce them. I like the semi realistic voice for the pronunciation Because it does not take on any gender and it’s easy to understand and pronounce although it is a little blurry in terms of speech Obrigado

the pronunciation is what i was looking for, yet from the looks of it, this app translates with gerunds (“-ndo”) if you were to translate a sentence regarding what you’re doing now it would not give you continental Portuguese. For example this app does the following: I am eating = Eu estou comendo. Rather, it would be useful to have both ways (comendo/a comer) so the learner could choose depending on where he is. eg. Madeira, Brazil, Portugal, Angola, etc…. I mean not that they wouldn't understand you regardless of the fact. But, it is useful to know.
