President: Simulator Game

This is a really fun game to play with different scenarios to go with. You start out with $100m signing laws and enforcing policies for your administration. HOWEVER, you hit a certain point in the story line where you don’t have the funds anymore and would have to spend actual money to progress in your game. I’ve tried multiple ways playing this game from playing it the right way, to paying all the most expensive options, to least expensive options, even tried purposely making all the wrong decisions and I still hit this money wall where I would need to spend actual money to continue playing. I understand the ad free option and paying for the premium. But if I try not to go with spending money, I still have to restart and try again. The game developer may not care about this review but people actually looking for a game to enjoy, please don’t waste your time playing this game. Unless if they do care, then they need to make it where the president can be able to receive funds often so we can continue to discover new stories and new adventures. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I was playing this game for the first time, and I was very locked in into the story mode, and then BLAM! I get hit with a decision to pay for something as President, but the thing is, I don’t have enough money to pay for any of them. My only way to progress in the story mode is to use my REAL money to purchase more in-game money. I do not use my own money when playing games, and while I understand why you have to pay for it and stuff, I think that you should not easily run out of money, and if you do, there could be alternatives rather than paying your real-money. Thank you, I love your game!

This app has potential. Ad removal being behind a paywall is nothing new. Paying for extra money is nothing new, even Monopoly GO does that. The thing is, games that do it also allow you to earn your income through either watching ads or waiting for a set time. I’ve combed through developer responses, they have been false. There is a point where story progression is a hard stop unless you spend money to get coins or diamonds. So you are limited unless you spend money for in-game currency. I love the concept of this, the game is pretty decent. However, the is game can never be great until the paywall for progress is removed. Eliminate that, or include free income alternatives such as set timers to wait, watch ads to gain money- then it will be worth my time. As of now, I’m disappointed in what I find to be wasted potential. Something with the potential to be great, hindered by a poor business model. Do better, listen to the complaints and feedback of others; and I may consider redownloading it.
