Precious - Baby Photo Art

This app is surprisingly cool! I was hooked when I saw it organizing all of my baby’s pictures into month to month albums and creating cute templates of each that I could edit. But after playing around with it for a little bit, there are some things that instinctually I felt should be there… and its very possible that some or all of these options are alrdy there, as I only created one type of template and didn’t get a chance to look around more, but in creating a template, I def didn’t see these things! Like I kept finding myself going to look for a “back” or undo button, that should just already be a thing… and there should definitely be a “duplicate” button because when working with stickers etc, it would be EXTREMELY helpful to just be able to copy & paste things that you’ve already sized and changed colors on. I was trying to put a corner frame sticker in each of the four corners, so I had to resize each one to as close in size to the others that I could see, change the color, and then go start all over again… and again… and again. Not a deal breaker but omg could it save a whole lot of time to be able to click copy- paste, paste, paste & done 😁. Lastly it would be a nice to be able to change the background color, or maybe even add a print (to be able to change the colors in those prints, or just given the same tools as with the stickers, would be even better). Other than those few things that really stood out to me, I think this app is super cool and I wish I would’ve realized I had it 3.5yrs ago when my baby was first born! Everyone would be sick of seeing me put up ultra decorated EVERYTHING posts by now tho lol.

I bought this app with such skepticism, I truly did not think it would be a good app. I figured it would be an ok app since you had to pay for it but i figured a lot of other baby apps I’ve paid for just did the basics and wasn’t anything special (not particularly talking about photo editing, but any app relating to babies or parenting or documenting photos). My oh my, I was proven very wrong after playing around with Precious. It is such a cute app! I have told every parent i know about it, my family members all have gotten the app after I’ve told them about it. There are many different options and it’s incredible how real the pictures look. What a great alternative for parents who are looking for beautiful photos! Whether you’re looking for a baby photo shoot or every day silly pictures, monthly milestones, holidays, or keepsakes, this app is beautifully designed to be used with ease and even auto generates pictures for you! Thank you for making such a great app!

This app is super mediocre and the pricing is absurd. It’s really great for the first 3-4 months of your child’s life. After that it started mixing up photos, choosing really odd frames and borders to associate with my child’s pics and often times selecting a pic that apparently isn’t on the phone any longer so it’s just blank....uhhh how does that happen? The time lapse function was amazing for the first few months, but after that it takes an insane amount of time to load and includes tons of pics that have been deleted (meaning it’s just a white screen in the app). It often selects a cute border or frame that says something that makes no sense with the photo. I would also say that after almost 2 years of ownership (I purchased annual plan and forgot to turn off auto renew before end of first year) the app has gotten worse and not better at sending me usable, cute pics. Instead they are often blank and the captions make no sense for what is in the pic. The only use for this app is if you want to spend a lot of time tapping through the various (and somewhat weak) editing functions. But if you really want to edit pics just buy a photo editing app. Highly advise you against spending money on this app as you will eventually come to despise it...even if you enjoy it for the first few months of your kids life.
