Prayer Pause: Screen Time

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt that I had to for this app! After every Ramadan, like many others, my focus on deen tends to take a swing but I am so glad to say that this year, this has not happened. This is mainly due to this app, as the streak keeps me on track and the app keeps me off my phone. With no distractions I’m able to stay focused and continue getting better. Whoever the owner of this app is, jazakAllah Khair!

I was recommend this app by a friend after seeing him use it and I have to say I love this app. I’ve been using the premium features of the app for about a week now and I love everything about it. The Sabr Focus and Prayer Pause features have been great for keeping me away from wasting time uselessly on my phone and instead using my time to focus on the deen, which is especially important during Ramadan. The interphase of the app is beautiful and I’ve had many friends ask me about it. If you love widgets and aesthetics, this app is also great for that since there are many options. It also has the Quran, salah times, and more. I highly highly recommend this app in general due to its functionality but especially if your goal is to dedicate more time to Islamic related content.

I have a serious problem with social media, doom scrolling, not knowing when to stop or honestly…how to stop. This app has so far helped me control my usage AND it’s pushing me to pray on time. The Sabr moment feature is so grounding, and it’s allowing little pockets of reconnecting with allah throughout the day, its allowed me to do dikr, it’s helping me memorize the quran slowly but surely, and it’s testing my knowledge and therefor showing me the areas I need to improve on. Also, as a woman, I really appreciate the period tracking feature. Especially with ramadan coming up, I tend to forget the days that I will need to make up later, so this makes it easy to remember & track.
