Power Pop Bubble Shooter Mania

I totally agree with the review titled ‘Fun game but’ from Dec 21 when it comes to advancing. It’s like they either give you more than enough balls for the easy rounds and not enough for the harder/difficult rounds as well as your ball color NEVER comes up. I’ve been playing this game for several years now and this version has it good and bad points - example you can win an extra balls (5) but you end up spending far more to do so. It says you have a ‘high score’ when you complete a round- what’s the reward? Is it possible the balls you don’t use in one round can be carried over to the next round, example you only use 21 of the 34 balls given and instead of them popping at the end let them carry over to the next game starting you with 14 extra balls? I dunno just a thought. Bottom line, I do like the game and enjoy playing it however, it can be impossible to clear a board at times.

This is a fun game but the ads are excessive. It really takes away from the game to have constant ads. UPDATE: I had to purchase coins to made the ads disappear, but it turns out this game forces you to purchase coins to advance. There are levels impossible to complete without the purchase of numerous coins. Money pit. Let me be clear in saying I don’t mind a purchase or two when the game is free but the coins needed far exceed the price I would pay for this game. It’s a shame because otherwise I would recommend this game to friends. I plan to delete this game now. Impossible to advance. This ruined an otherwise great game Second review: I decided to play the game awhile longer and some changes were made to the game to help players. It’s still impossible to get past some of the levels unless you purchase coins. The amount of coins used to advance quickly delete your purchased coins. The extra bonus games to win “gifts/prizes” are too difficult to win because the correct color ball is never given. All in all if you want to play this game be prepared to spend some money. I would rather purchase the game than be charged to advance. It can be very expensive. Otherwise this would be an AWESOME game.

This is a cool concept for a game. Basically a puzzle game, and what you are doing is you are shooting a bubble of a specific color from the bottom of the screen towards bubbles at the top of the screen trying to match groups of three or more in order to get rid of them until you’ve eliminated all bubbles. The game is made more challenging by the fact that at the start of the level it gives you a certain number of moves that you have to complete the level in, and not exceed that number (not as some optional challenge, but as a requirement on every level). So why did I give it 2 stars? Well, after each turn, it provides you with a new bubble to shoot. The problem is, it provides you with a bubble based on purely random generation and does not do it based on actual moves you are capable of making. For example, I played a round not too long ago in which the only bubbles at the top of the screen that I was able to hit were light blue, purple, and dark blue and for 20 turns in a row it only gave me reds and yellows! So basically, for 20 turns my only option was to continue shooting bubbles that did nothing but add to the mass of the bubbles at the top of the screen. Now 20 turns in a row is a bit extreme and it does not usually happen for that many turns, but I cannot tell you how many levels of this game I have lost because I’m down to 10 turns left and for five or six turns in a row it gives me colors I cannot use, and by the time I do get a color I can use I have too few turns left to finish the level. That’s why I gave it a 2 out of 5. The random generation of your next move makes it so that you can in theory, and unfortunately often do in practice, get moves that you CANNOT use.
