Pokémon quest is a really fun game! Though, I do think that they can add a few things and fix a few things as well. This does NOT mean bugs just things like allowing everyone to get in-app purchases. I personally think that everyone should be allowed to get in-app purchases because they might really ,REALLY need it! And I think they should add some new Pokémon to this game. Sure they have a lot of Pokémon, but I think they should add some of the newer Pokémon and also add new ingredients instead of the normal ones. And I now that this game hasn’t had an update in 2 years, but some new stuff couldn’t hurt right? I absolutely love this game and it is really fun, but I personally think that they should also add new worlds. I know that there’s 12 worlds (( Yes, I know about the secret world )) but the game is so fun but in my opinion, it’s way too short. This game should really get an update! I think that you need an update every once in a while. Again, I really love this game, and I’ve played it for a very long time, but I also think they should add maybe 1 or 2 new training styles just so the Pokémon can get even stronger, speaking of which, they should add more types of power charms like I know of the basic power charms, power & health, but maybe they could add a new power charm like a shiny power charm that makes the moves 2 times the strength of the regular move. Well I’ve got to go back to playing Pokémon quest now. Bye!!!!!!
I’ve spent a lot of time playing this and it’s genuinely something really cool. It’s an interesting concept that makes you think about what ingredients you need, the kind of Pokémon that are essential to beating an expedition, and it’s just as rewarding to evolve Pokémon here as in the console games. The only problem is you have to invest a lot of time. RNG for moves are not in your favor most of the time, and RNG for what Pokémon come out of the pots, while expected, is frustrating. For casual players and even hardcore players, they’re going to delete it pretty fast because of how long it takes to get certain types that are worthwhile with great move sets, which takes a longgggg time. In the original Pokémon games all it takes to change a move is evolution, hm’s, and tm’s. As far as I’ve gotten the only way you can change moves is through training, which unfortunately you have to sacrifice your other Pokémon which you’ve spent a lot of time working on getting. If there was a better way to do that then this would be a really interesting game to keep you moving through expeditions. In conclusion, I really love this mobile game, it’s one of the few games Ive kept on my phone for a month. I’m going to continue to play it, but I hope they add some good changes to give the player more incentive to keep playing.
I was so excited for a decent mobile Pokémon game other than Pokémon Go and when I saw this in the pre-orders I was so hyped. I haven’t played it before on a different device so it’s a new experience for me. Regardless, I find it very fun. Although its kinda redundant and requires a lot of grinding I’m okay with that. That’s just Pokémon. You can’t have Pokémon without hours and hours of grinding. Just stick to it, and in the end, when you finally beat that boss you’re feeling so accomplished, and then you start grinding for the next level. I already have a Kanghaskan, a Pikachu, and an Onix so I’m pretty happy. I also got a Dratini which will be helpful in the future. FYI Pokémon noobs you’ll find out that Dragon types take forever to grind. However, once you get that Dragonite, you’re an absolute boss. The whole cooking attracts Pokémon thing is different, but fun. Instead of searching a patch of grass over and over, you cook over and over. The only big problems I have with this game is that xp rates for move leveling is super low. Also the dodging is messed up. There has been a couple times when I’m fighting the boss with my last Pokémon and I would win, but I try to dodge that shot and... my Pokémon goes straight into a wall. So instead of dodging, it gets hit and game over. Please fix this and I will be happy. I’m hoping online features and trading will be coming soon. Also can’t wait for new gens if they’re coming also. Thanks for this awesome game!
