I track all of my cash and tournament results and had been using a basic app for the past few years. A friend recommended PA6 so I decided to try it. It is light years ahead of the app I had been using in terms of design and functionality. There is an annual fee for all of its robust features but it’s well worth it - basically one RFI bet! If you don’t currently track every session and know your true winrate you are fooling yourself. You need to understand how well you play if you’re going to get better at poker. PA6 has great hand sharing options to allow you to share hand histories with poker friends and get feedback. I did have issues when trying to export my past 3-4 years of histories from the app I was using and import them into PA6. I emailed the company and Laurent replied right away and helped me get it working. Great app, great company, great support.
I have been using this app for about a month now. The customer service and support is top notch. They converted my data from another app into a file that would work with this one so I could import all of my old sessions. The data crunching options are so comprehensive that it’s actually intimidating. But the support is always quick to reply with answers. While the learning curve on creating custom reports for stats and data is a bit more than the other poker tracking apps, it’s well worth it in the long run. The hand replay feature is also a very nice touch. They say they have plans to make button straddles an option soon and once that is implemented I will use it even more.
I’ve used this app many times over the last few years and it continues to improve. I hate how expensive it is and after my first year in 2016 expired, I didn’t renew. I decided to give it another try and I ended up subscribing again. If you can get past the price tag, it’s a great poker statistics app. I use this app as well as another one and I feel like they are tied in terms of features. However, for me, this one just has a cleaner look and feel. Another thing is, the developer is very responsive. I have reached out on several occasions with suggestions and bug reports and I’ve always gotten a reply back with fixes shortly after. While I hate how much it costs, the customer service almost makes up for it.
