Pocket Sort: Coin Merge Puzzle

It’s fun until you get to about level 20. Then you can’t get any further without spending actual money. Even when you get to “no further moves” and allegedly reset, it doesn’t give you any additional moves or empty spaces. AND, you allegedly get a daily gem bonus, but your gem count doesn’t go up at all. I downloaded it today, but sadly will be deleting it today too. I can’t go any further. I’m only giving it 3 stars because it was fun to start and they’ll delete it if I give it any lower (they’ll probably delete it anyway ).

Has so much promise to be a good game but falters in so multiple aspects. The game is buggy, it will randomly fail you and say there are no more moves when there is. On the counter of that you can continue to deal out sometimes, with no moves, and the game won’t fail you. UI is poorly managed, the deal button overlaps some of the slots resulting in undesired deals when trying to move coins. The ads are such a nuisance. Constant running banner ads and random pop up breaks. Pick a lane. The pop up ads have the tiniest skip/close button that you are expected to miss click and pull up the store page for the ad. It’s literally faster to force close and relaunch the app than sit through a pointless ad. Genre for this game is a dime a dozen (no pun intended) so I’ll be trying a different app.

This is another one of those games designed to manipulate you through desperation into wasting money into it unless you have the patience and memory to come back every hour to claim your free meager amount of gems. The ads are also excessive, disruptive, repetitive, and the voluntary ones are an entire minute long. Even after I wasted $4 to try and progress I can’t even get to level 50. If I had the coding prowess I would remake this game with only the banner ads at the bottom, gems and daily rewards and lives would have far shorter or no cooldowns, and you can progress as far as you want only having to watch maybe one or two half minute voluntary ads every ten minutes AT MOST. And to get rid of ads I’d only charge $1. I understand wanting to make something off your work but this is borderline exploitative.
