Pocket Sort: Coin Merge Puzzle

I never leave game reviews but, this is the first sorting game that I’ve actually enjoyed that seems not rigged or like one of those pay to play games. I also don’t mine that I can play it and not be swamped with long annoying ads because I am that girl that isn’t going to pay to remove ads until I’m fully committed to a mobile game. However, in saying that, I seem to be stuck at level 119 and have been for days and that’s unusual. I’ve been stuck at a level before and stuck with it but this has been days and I just can’t work it out. Anyone else have trouble with this level? Is it a gimmick where it’s not going to let me pass until I buy some special pack because I’ve already bought one and I’m just not going to keep doing that. I don’t mind buying something once a month but that’s as much as I’ll do for any game. Other than this annoying issue, which could be my own lack of understanding, I really actually like this game a lot.

Don’t bother with this “game”. You won’t get very far once you lose and run out of “lives” - and it WILL happen, - it becomes unplayable and unwinnable. This game uses save states that it reverts you to and then throws the exact same amount of coins that you can’t match that made you lose in the first place. Oh sure, you can “win”, but you have to use a power up to do so. Yet another desperate money grab that I will NOT participate in. This is shady as hell but not unexpected because all of these apps - and that is what they are, not games - are nothing but cash grabs. Because of that, I will not and cannot respect this one. I’ve since deleted it and I’m seriously thinking about reporting it for a lack of situational awareness because you’re forcing users to buy to win. That kind of garbage shouldn’t be allowed. Now I’ll wait for some pathetic response from the developer to say some garbage like “we plan on doing this and this and hope you reconsider”. Save your breath. I will never get this app again. Go get some other sucker to buy into your nonsense. Oh, and your bashing players over the head with incessant ads are quite easy to get around without having to pay for you to remove them. Try another tactic because this one didn’t work. You will never get any money from me and hopefully others figure it out as I did.

So this game was fun for a while. But there are some things I didn’t understand. Some levels can be a challenge, but whatever. The problem is that you have the option to use “power ups” to help you get through a level, but you can’t use them unless you spend lots of coins. You are only earning like 5 coins for completing a level but a power up can cost 250 coins or more. But it seems like some levels have free power ups available if you watch an add, but the free option is not on all levels. Which is weird. There have been many times that I am 99% on a level and had to keep starting over until I finally win. Also, the ads are annoying … but if you spend money, you can get rid of them. I think they purposely make ads pop up while you’re in the middle of a level to throw you off. I don’t know. But I made it to level 335 until I just couldn’t anymore. Trying to get off this level isn’t possible unless you spend money to get through it. Or if you’re lucky, you have save up enough coins to purchase the power ups. It wasn’t a horrible game. It definitely kept my mind busy when I was bored.
