Pocket Bubble Level XXL

I wasn’t happy with this app originally, constantly pestering you to upgrade and putting ads over that need to be dismissed, but starting mid 2025, they started serving up Google chrome ads that couldn’t be dismissed - the only option was to install Google Chrome. All you could do was quit the app, restart, and hope something different would happen next time. Sometimes you had to do it several times to be able to use the app. I finally figured it wasn’t worth the trouble, deleted the app, and wrote this review to warn others.

As a developer myself I understand the need to have some sort of return on your investment but you’ve really got to strike a good balance. Unfortunately, when I’m one handed leveling something and I’ve got to switch the level types it’s a) not intuitively easy with one hand and b) requires a 30 second ad. This presents a problem when time is of the essence of me barely hanging on to that one piece of wood when I should’ve asked for help. But hey I’m a guy and this app doesn’t capture the minor details of how people use a real level when they don’t plan on it. 🤪

I downloaded another leveling tool and couldn’t really use it due to the constant barrage of adds and having to click back to the level function… it only took me about 3 tries to use that “ other” leveling app to delete it and go with this one. I have done 6 projects since and love it!
