Iโve been using this app for my plants since the end of January, and it has quickly become my favorite! I love that I can set up custom schedules for each plant, and adding my old photos for tracking was super easyโyou can upload multiple at once. The app is simple, clean, and focused on tracking without any unnecessary extras. The layout is great too! One thing Iโd suggest is adding an option to view all locations on one page you can scroll through. Right now, when I assign plants to a location, the list jumps away, which makes it harder to see everything at once. I personally use locations to group plants with different light requirements, but Iโd still like a โmy plantsโ style view where everything is shown together, just grouped by location. Overall, I definitely recommend this app if youโre looking for an easy, no-frills plant tracker! Update (August 24, 2025): This is still my favoriteโI use it every day and love it. ๐ฑโค๏ธ
This app is awesome. The UI is beautifully simple and I love how it looks right now. I can add plants and have their watering schedules for free. I really love how the app looks so I am paying the extra 99 cents a month (very reasonable price) for the other features such as fertilizer schedules and so on. This app is literally exactly what I would create as a software engineer and envision as a plabt tracker logging app so I am glad it is already on the app store. One thing I would add to make the app better is if it could sync between my iphone and ipadโฆ as of right now it does not :(
Iโve tried many plant care apps and most fall short. There are plenty out there that use faulty algorithms to determine watering frequency. There are just too many variables for these apps to get it right and I think those algorithms are worse than useless, hindering your ability to learn when watering is actually needed, and likely will lead to significant overwatering. Instead, this app does a great job of cataloging your collection and keeping track of ad-hoc and recurring tasks. You set the frequency but you can also look back and see your frequency averages, helping you to adjust care schedules as needed. A couple things I would love to see: 1) plant count. Would be fun to see this number rather than needing to manually count. 2) search feature for searching your own plants. If you have large collections and move plants around, sometimes it can take a lot of scrolling to find the plant in your collection you are looking for. 3) expanded plant library. The current library is somewhat limited.
