Plant Identification & Info

identify plants By the grace of God in heaven I downloaded this app yesterday with the notion of making a record of the plants growing on our little homestead acreage in Iowa. I tried it on a couple of trees yesterday and put it away because, we’ll, there’s a lot of work to be done around the farm. Today I happened to be out in the garden pulling weeds and encountered a plant next to the carrots that I wasn’t sure what to do with . similar to the carrots, but much taller. Not wanting to accidentally pull a vegetable from the soil, I skipped over it for the time being. Later it finally dawned on me that I can use this app to see what that tall carrot-looking plant is. The app identified it as poisonous hemlock. a seriously deadly plant. I thought, nah! And tried again from a different angle. this time the app indicated it could be licorice root, but right there near the top of the list of possibilities was again the poisonous hemlock. Fortunately this convinced me I needed to be careful

plant identifier that I’ve ever used, and the best app out their, that so much more people should know about, and use, not only to get to know nature and the different plant life better, or expanding one’s knowledge about plants around the world. But also to have access to spot on identification, and instant knowledge qabout their surroundings and what plants could help them survive, and what plants could end their hike abruptly. And honestly I don’t usually write reviews for things, like ever. But this app is something that I fully believe everyone in the world that owns a smartphone, and can download it. should more then definitely have it downloaded on their phones, because its amazing, and spot on!! And ya never know, having this app downloaded on your phone could potentially save a persons life!! And it doesn’t matter whether you have the gold membership or not (Highly Recommended Tho if you want spot on accuracy!!!) even just having the free version on your phone could

given. BUT, because this app worked better then any other Plant identifier app Ive tried, by a landslide, so I decided to say screw it and get the Gold membership account. Best decision I could’ve ever made!! I’ve even tested it out more times then not (mostly to show other people how awesome it is!!), where I’ll take pictures of plants and flowers that I already know the name of, purposely, just to test how accurate the LeafSnap Gold membership is, compared to the free account. and well the gold membership doesn’t give you 3-4 options to choose from, it tells you flat out what the plants name is that you’re taking a picture of. and i can tell you now that, while I’ve only been able to scan 123 different plants so far, I know for a fact that every plant that I scanned with my LeafSnap app, has been 100% accurately identified!! I’ve even went and identified the plants with another source like a book or online, just to be sure. Well this is by far the best app flower identification
