Pilates & Fitness TV

Pilates is a necessary component of my life. Prior to having started Pilates 2 years ago, my flexibility was diminishing; in fact, at age 63 (then), I didn’t have the flexibility to put my socks on the normal way! After taking reformer studio classes for 2 years, I am probably in the best physical shape of my life. Just 3 weeks ago, I purchased an Allegra II reformer and quit my expensive monthly Pilates studio practice and I was fearful that I would not have the sustained motivation necessary to consistently do Pilates at home without the live class/studio environment. I initially subscribed to a different popular Pilates subscription service, but I was not sufficiently motivated. I panicked just a bit thinking that I made a big mistake purchasing a very expensive reformer and feeling at the time that I would not be realizing a return on my financial investment. That was until I discovered John Garey TV (JGTV). The app is well planned and user friendly. The videos are well organized and varied. I appreciate the many “extras” including optional classes with an added strength training component or focus. I’m totally thrilled to know that with JGTV, I can continue to grow my Pilates practice. Thank you!

I got my Reformer as a 50th bday present back in December 2020 and started using the app to do my daily exercises when it finally got here. Started with beginner reformer classes as I had not been on a reformer for aprox 2 years. I’ve used the app for clases at least 3 times a week and have done, besides beginners, the summer body series and I’m in the middle of the Athletic Reformer ones. There are so many options to chose and they are all great. I also see that content is constantly added and can’t wait to try the new Jo classes that will be added soon. This is the best money I pay for on a monthly basis and I’ve seen a noticeable change in my body. Thank you John and the rest of the gang! A keeper for sure!!!! 5 stars.

I discovered John Garry on Pilates Anytime. I was drawn to his teaching style. He shows passion for his work & it shows in his teaching. He is clear & concise, and I really enjoy his cueing. I found out about the website & app at the Pilates studio I trained at to become an NCPT. I found out John & Patty, who was teaching cycling at my Pilates studio, were friends. Loved intermediate & advanced series with Patty. I love the new chair,ladder barrel, spin corrector & Cadillac workouts. The addition of JOana, Sheri, Joe & Tasha has opened up an endless number of combinations for workouts using mixed equipment. The workouts are amazing. You will never be bored! I am always challenged & love it. New content is always being added! I look forward to the new content emails so I can continue my fitness journey. Always learning!I love the ability to do Pilates, weights, trampoline, barre, & yoga. The tutorials are very helpful. I have done a Pilates Grad School Unilateral Reformer Workshop which was just excellent. I love that you can Find Your Favorite Workout-pick your equipment, your level, your intensity, your time, your props, and your instructor. Press the button & BINGO, all the workouts pop up! I have recommended this app to my friends who now also enjoy the workouts too. I am hoping John will teach some workshops in the community for local Pilates instructors. That would be awesome 🤩. I can’t say enough good things about the site & the app which is so easy to use & navigate. You will go from GOOD TO GREAT TO AWESOME with the John Garey TV app ❤️❤️❤️
