I didn’t even get to try the game. When it comes to using any app, whether it is a game or tool, if I open it and immediately, before I can even start using it, an ad pops up, I delete it. In this particular scenario, I opened the app, was met with a remove ads purchase screen, which I backed out of because I have yet to try the game, and immediately an ad popped up. I have sympathy for app creators making money from ads, I absolutely get that, and on some of my favorite apps I don’t mind the ads at all, because I was met with a positive user experience. Immediate ads feel inconsiderate and like a fast money grab, whether it be to put the pressure on the user to buy ad free, or because maybe the app product isn’t that great, and the creators want too make quick money before it is deleted.
