This app is everything I needed to move forward in sight reading and more I first started using it when I was in band in high school and continued using it on and off thought out the years and it helped me a lot BUT this app could be so much more. As I said I’ve used it throughout the years and seen minimal change. It needs an update and and a upgrade yes they have added a bit more features and redesign a couple of things slightly, but it will be nice if they come on up first of all, there is a bug at least for rhythm tapping that I know of. when you finish an exercise the app closes out when you hit Repeat it glitches. Also for site reading exercises the time mode has a glitch and also the time mode is not challenging it would be nice if the creators would think about different levels of difficulty to meet with the skill levels of their users these are just a few problems im speaking of here but in conclusion I would like even more exercise and more challenges and I want them to be more exciting but still sophisticated enough for kids and adults to play said the 25 year old. I’m looking to get better at sight reading and get better on my instruments and I’m looking for a great app to help me practice a bit everyday. And perfect ear is but it’s just a bit glitchy and it need some depth it’s a bit 2 dimensional and I like simple apps. Anyway As I said over the years the app has helped me but it’s really not growing with me . It frustrating cause it’s like I Love the concept of perfect ear but it has so much potential but it not meeting it. That’s my reason for the three stars I like the app but I wish it would improve.
This app is very helpful and can help a lot of people struggling with whatever issue. But my main problem with this app when I’m doing the chords and melodic training and it tells me to sing or do like la or whatever. If I need it to repeat or hold down on the key it just skips and doesn’t let me play and also like it won’t even let me do it sometimes it just goes to the next thing. Like nothing in the background could trigger it with noise because nothing is happening so I don’t understand this could be an easy fix and help out me and other people with this issue because in all honesty I love this app and I need that training the most. To be able to sing on pitch and be able to know which way I’m going without it skipping on its own or not being able to fully hear it and get my ear used to the note. Thank y’all!
I am a 12 year old kid, and I play guitar and trumpet and I wanted to start composing. The one problem is I am a seventh grader and they don’t teach music theory to us I band and I want to understand the structure of what I am playing in my schools jazz band. I couldn’t find anything on how to use chords and circle of fifths and music theory stuff online that I understood but since I got this app I started to understand chord progressions and how to play in different keys. I now hope to write songs and solos with my musical friends, I thank this app for existing and helping me as a young musician and helping my musical future.
