Disconnects and the beeping is constant on the boundaries and delayed which is confusing to my poor dog who doesn’t know what to do but run an d cower. Also the silicone collar keeps slipping through the fasteners. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this.
When we can get this to work properly, it does the job nicely…a thing to behold! Keeps our little adventurous boy safely in our boundaries. He responded to it very quickly too, & almost immediately stops & turns around when it beeps. I understand that it’ll “lose connectivity” when out of wi-fi, and still have the fence active…supposedly. The issue is the app itself frequently crashes (?). I’ve had my poor dog run to me beeping & vibrating when he’s just chilling, perfectly in bounds! I have to reset my fence and sometimes can’t get out of in the streets of Beijing (?). It either doesn’t let you save multiple fences, or I don’t know/can’t figure out how to do it. It would be great to set “favorites” for places frequently visited. The absolute (!) most frustrating thing is you can’t edit the fence…like drag a dot a bit in or out. Nope, gotta delete the whole thing. Boo. It needs some definite tweaks before I would be confident enough to trust this with my friends!
Seems like 1st generation, nice concept but not crisp and clean. Collar always loses connection and has a hard time reconnecting so many times fence doesn’t work. Using polygon to create fence is futsy. Worst pain, on train mode there is a 2.5 second delay in pressing button and giving bib/shock which is too late to correct a behavior most times. Little disappointed, late generations will likely be better
