Oh My Word app is a Fresh and Fun alternative to reading the Bible, you have to try it! It provides easy to use AI based Bible searches and creates short packaged verses for you to scroll through. The 1 verse at a time views help us to focus on the words rather than get lost in the paragraphs. With each swipe I feel better about my phone time vs. mindless social media swipes. There is also commentary that is added to help you digest what you just read. All along the way, you see some humor sprinkled into the app, such as a cartoon Devil crying that we’re using this app. I started to use this as my go to Bible app because the other ones are just boring. This one is aesthetically pleasing to view and makes me look forward to reading the Bible in a new way. It helps to highlight God’s Word and give it more attention! Thanks Edward for developing this for the world to use.

Most people expect a spouse to jump in and leave a 5-star review on day one, but that’s not how we do things. I refused to be the first reviewer because I needed to actually use the app and put it through its paces. I don’t believe in blind praise, especially for a tool as important as a Bible app. After spending some real time with it, I can honestly say I’m impressed. It’s fast, thoughtful, and clearly made with a lot of heart. It has officially earned its spot on my home screen. If you’re looking for a sign to download a clean, reliable study tool—this is it!

OMW! Best Bible app. The verse by verse reading format really keeps me focused during my daily quiet times. A welcome redemption of my swipe and scroll habits. The introductory background and context to the readings helps frame my reading and I appreciate the daily summary of my readings. I’m most impressed with the “Ask the Bible” function. It provides surprisingly thoughtful and relevant scripture based answers with context and commentary to all the questions I’ve tried asking. I’ve asked personal questions like, “How can I share my faith without pushing my friends away?” and existential ones like “Why can’t everyone go to heaven?” Will continue to use as my daily Bible app!
