Got a Oakter home kit from a family friend. I started off a little skeptical when I looked at the bulkiness of the package. My suspicion came true when I had issues connecting all the devices to the hub and to internet. I called the support number and all it said is to contact thru WhatsApp. I was frustrated and contacted the support team on WhatsApp. To my surprise someone responded instantaneously. I got connected to Rabia and she worked with me for more than a day to get all my problems resolved. Truly appreciate her professionalism and perseverance. She definitely handled a frustrated customer in a professional manner.

I have just purchased an Oakter smart Plug. I had difficulty in connecting the smart plug to my WiFi. I contacted your help line on date. I was attended to by Shri Puneet. He patiently guided me, but somehow despite a lot of effort I couldn’t connect my device to my WiFi. Puneet offered to help me by connecting from your end. With Puneet’s help, the device was finally connected. I sincerely thank your team, particularly Shri Puneet, who spent so much time and very patiently helped me connect my device to my WiFi. While using iOS dark mode, text not visible in settings page. This was fixed in previous version but has reoccurred. Also price details not visible in the newly introduced shopping page While using iOS dark mode. ———- The above issue has been fixed now. The oakview for viewing camera image never issued notification till now but it has started issuing notifications since yesterday. The issue is it sends about 10 notifications back to back even if there are no activity outdoor. By tapping the notification we cannot access thr image directly. We still have to navigate the screens to preview the image. Very limited configuration options available for camera view. Can not zoom the captured image, cannot save the image, cannot download the image. I don’t know what the camera is useful for. It simply doesn’t do the job expected. —————- Getting replacement of defective components under warranty is a painful process. Not very professional in responding to customer needs. It took 1 month despite frequent follow up and escalations. Call Center is useless. Senior people won’t call back even after multiple requests. A product with potential but bad customer support and issue management spoils the overall experience.
