NYC Subway Widget

This app/widget has improved the quality of my subway life substantially. I live close to Columbus Circle and the A/C/B/D/1 can all take me downtown. With this widget, I can *easily* see which line will arrive first and take that line when it makes sense. It also eliminates the need for me to walk the platforms to find those sometimes-functioning screens that let me know when the next train will arrive. If that weren’t enough, if I’m near any subway, I can instantly know if I need to run to catch the subway or I can take my time. And even though this is a secondary use, when I’m in unfamiliar parts of the city, I can see which stations are the closest and can click on the station name and get walking directions directly to the station. I hope more people discover this app. I’ve been doing my part to make sure people know about it :-)

This app has been so useful and clean that I haven’t opened the MTA app since I downloaded it. Having it on my Lock Screen is so nice. It knows when I’m at home and I have a favorite location that I prefer displayed, and then when I’m out and about it displays whatever is nearby. Easy to use, easy to look at, and if you get the paid version is super affordable.

Not an ad, just a lazy person who hates having to look at google maps every morning to time when they leave home to catch the train. The app is straight forward and I will have to test it out when I’m in K-Town (34th street bc it’s like 10+ different trains) to see how it works then, but for now this is exactly what I need!! I will share this with as many ppl as I know!!
