I’ve just used the app to handle a problem I had with an instructional video that I had downloaded with another app. The video was recorded in German, when I speak English, and the window for recording it again was closed. I needed a transcript in English. So I used another app to extract the audio, and then used this app with the audio file to get the transcript (in German, at first). Then I used the AI to translate the transcript into English, which it did in parts (I guess it has a memory limit), but did it exceedingly well. Finally, I asked it to provide me with a step-by-step outline of the instructions in the video. Again, it did that flawlessly. My only problem was with the copying text from the AI Chat pieces to a text app. I used Sheets since that’s on my iPad. But in pasting the Chat to Sheets, all the pretty formatting of the instructional outline was removed. There is only one way to copy those Chat pieces and that is through using its own copy function. I was unable to use iOS gestures for that. So I was wondering if this small annoyance might be improved— that the copy function might include the formatting along with the text? Other than that I have been ultra impressed with this app. 5 stars, surely!
I commend your effort on making this amazing note taking app. The transcription is extremely accurate and the summaries were spot on. However, to be competitive in this landscape, you need to offer Apple Watch support as well. Not everyone wants to pull out their phone when they’re in a lecture or meeting just to transcribe. Incorporating Apple Watch support to this app would be a game changer and help propel this app forward. From an average user that wants this feature. I am sure I am not the only one. I’ve read this app five stars but would appreciate an update to this feature. Great job on all you’ve done so far. UPDATE- This dev is the best. Asked for WATCH support and they delivered. Only thing is that they need to add a complication for the app so it can be added to the watch face for quick and easy access. Going into the app list on the watch and scrolling down to the app every time is cumbersome. I’m a lifetime subscriber and want to make this my one stop shop for note taking. I’m sure all the people with WATCHES will appreciate the effort as then you can just tap the complication on the watch face and start recording. This change would fully integrate the app into the WATCH ecosystem. Hats off to the dev. I wish this app tons of success. Hats off to the dev.
Really great app, but took free lifetime offer (as did my partner on his phone) and once we tried to use the app, we got one use out of it, then we both kept hitting the paywall for $70 to keep using it. Nope. Not cool at all. Don’t promise something you have no intention of following through on. Too bad, really is a great product. That’s why I still gave it two stars, not one. Update: received unsatisfactory response from developer. What does “essential plan” do then? Nothing we have found useful. Can develop clarify what free lifetime program actually offers? Because it seems others have complained about the same thing and their answers from developer were unclear as well.
