I’ve had this game for years and have enjoyed playing it. I’d run out of gems (or is it money?), wait to build up more, then play again, ad infinitum. But at some point the game stopped asking me to pay for playing a puzzle but continued to give me my daily allotment of gems and coins. I currently have 48,530 coins and 7,633 gems. I just finished the Nonogram called “Captain Hook’s Ship” and… there aren’t any more. There’s just a puzzle “frame” that says “Coming soon.” I’ve received no updates for a long time now (I have version 1.6.5, Copyright 2020) and I’m wondering—should I just pitch the game? Are there really any more nonograms coming? And why am I not being asked to spend gems or coins to solve a puzzle? Update—I confused this game with another game I have by the same name. I am perfectly happy with this game and solve at least one puzzle every day. It used to have puzzles that had more than one solution but that seems to have fixed. That was the only issue I have ever had.
I found this game on a add and I decided to download it and I am so glad I did! If you like challenges or if you like things to keep you busy this game is perfect. It starts of easy and progressively gets harder. If you are stuck on one you can pause it and go back to it when your are ready. if you ever mes up on one there is a button on the top right corner we’re you can redo it. I have had to use that button a lot whenever I went back to the ones I paused. It makes sure you are comfortable doing the regular puzzles before you can do one of the art pieces. I feel as though this is very important for someone like me who wants to jump into everything thing. I have had this game for almost a month now and it is so addicting! The thrill of finishing something you worked on for so long and getting to see the final peace is just amazing! Because the nonogram are in black and white you have no idea what is going to turn out to be and I love that! It makes me want to keep going just to see what the finished product will be. If you are thinking of getting this DO IT! You will get stuck on some but there is a help button. I have seen my self progress and I can’t be more pleased.
It’s hard for a game to keep my attention for long. Most games i’ll only keep for a week before it falls to the background and gets deleted. This game is one of only two that have managed to keep me interested for many months. I love nonograms and pretty much all of the competing apps that i’ve tried can’t compare. Only, I wish I could play it more. Basically, the reward ratio needs improvement. You pay with a lot of diamonds to play, and only earn a couple for completing. You also earn diamonds on a time based schedule, but the amount it caps out to is only enough to play one or two puzzles towards the end of a chapter when only “Very Hard” pricier puzzles remain. What you will earn a ton of is coins, which are only useful if you have no idea how to complete a nonogram puzzle. I only use my coins for the occasional unnecessary hint to earn diamonds from weekly challenges like “use 2 hints” So really I only use a couple hints a week because I don’t need them. I have amassed over 10,000 coins that have no use for me. I watch as many ads as they will allow to earn diamonds, so they get plenty of ad revenue from me. I’m one of the many people who will never spend real money on in game currency, so they would be better off if a feature was added to purchase diamonds with coins. That way I can play more, and they can make more money off the adds i watch after puzzles rather than making nothing because I cant play anymore.
