NKJV Bible by Olive Tree

To know what truth and what lies are. You have to understand what life is and how it starts. The only way that we can learn about life is to know how it started and how we are lied to about it. We’re lied about the universe and how it started. So to learn more about life and the universe is to read the book of life. The book is is called the Bible and it has been written by men but it was written by men who were inspired by the God of the universe and the Father of Jesus Christ. God the father of all that exists in the universe and the world as we know it today. We learn that science has been trying to make us believe that we have evolved from a primitive cell and became a human being. But scientists have proven that the Bible’s teachings are true because they have found the scrolls of HISTORY IN THE ROMAN TIMES. All of them talk about the man Jesus Christ and his life and his death and his time on earth. So that’s why I have to read this book and learn it and who inspired the book. So to be able to understand the universe and to understand life I have to believe that the teachings of Jesus Christ and God the Father are TRUTHFULL AND PROVEN BY SCIENCE.

I actually wanted to give this app a higher rating, because I really love the format and layout, highlighting and note options, and the pop-up access to multiple resources: i.e. Greek/Hebrew lexicons; commentaries; dictionaries; cross references; concordances; study tools; etc. It’s very easy on the eyes, too, in my opinion, and makes reading/study fairly enjoyable. BUT, I really feel that the parallel bible/translation option is really lacking, compared to eSword, which allows top-down listing of essentially unlimited translations/versions for verse-by-verse viewing/comparison, as well as multiple side-by side parallel translation by chapter/verse viewing/comparison, whereas Olive Tree only allows for one parallel version at a time, and it’s not side by side, but in the resource center pop-up option, which makes comparison viewing more difficult than easy, as my eyes have to jump around the screen. However, eSword definitely fails in not allowing footnotes/comments, or pop-up resource access for those multiple translation options (only allowing it for a single selected translation/version in their app’s main window), and unfortunately rather they have a very simplistic and bland user interface, that I personally find not as enjoyable to read. I just wish there were one app that had it all…

I use this App all the time. I am a pastor. I get asked questions all the time about scripture. The search is so great. It has helped me in my ministry. Absolutely awesome. Recommend it highly!! I don’t like search categories just put Search : Old And New Testaments or Entire Bible Search: Old Testament Search: New Testament (how simple is that??????) what complications that you have weaved Don’t give us A 3rd division of the Old Testament what is that??? Give us what we need to locate scripture!!! Simple!!!! And Don’t get me started on Apologetics?????who ever come up with that was the devil’s minion Unchurched now say “well their apologizing for the Word of God” Everything they’ve tried to teach us is nil!!!!” “So it is….all Fairytales”…..those born in the 1980’s say!!!!!After that 1 word came up in Theological circles which are not as Christian based as they used to be!!! You just went running with the cancellation of Thousands of years of discipleship just of naught cancelled, it crossed it out!!! Whoever come up with it Neglected to note That God doesn’t Apologize and doesn’t have apologize for His Word!!! Bc that’s what’s is implied by the one word Apologetics!!!! But His Word is inerrant, His Word (Jesus) became flesh to Dwell among us!!!! John 1:14 His Word Will Survive us all!!!!Matthew I don’t care that Webster or whomever came up with it when Late 1990s or Later I’m glad Someone has Smartened up I have seen a “UnApologetic Bible”, in a Local Christian Book Store still hard working at selling Bibles!!!!!! No Not like Lifeway Closed up their doors and go all Internet they messed up big time!!!! Give the simple back.
