This was really fun. And hard. Not the mini games. They were fun but pretty easy for me. Other than one game, which is the game in the table of the cafeteria in chapter 3. I have the free version and tried 2 different settings of this mini game (when it wouldn’t solve the first time I reset the game and it was a different configuration that too was unsolvable). The issue is you have chips that can only move so many spaces to special squares. In one version the chip could only move 4 spaces but there wasn’t a square within 4 spaces. Literally. Okay there was 1 but the chip that went there HAD to go there because it could only move 3 spaces and there was only one square within 3 spaces. I spent 25 coins to skip it and in both versions where the chips end up couldn’t actually end up there. So that needs to be fixed. Other than that this was fun and hard because it’s not always obvious where to go next. I usually don’t use a lot of hints in these games but I used A LOT in this one. I wish the mini games were a little harder but that’s always my beef with this developer. Either they’re way too hard or way too easy. I wish you could choose your level of difficulty to make it so the mini games are more difficult.
It took me a few plays before I started understanding how the game works. Once I got the concept, things gradually got easier and now I’m progressing at a level which is challenging but makes me feel I’m making progress at a decent rate. The only two things I have concerned about is the fact I have to change my phone from silent mode to hear it. I need my phone on silent and I’m afraid I will forget to turn it back on silent when I need it. The other concern is clicking on an item and the item doing absolutely nothing until I progress through the game and click on it again because it really seems like it’s out of place and then I’m able to pick it up. Otherwise, GREAT GAME! And that is surprising, because I haven’t seen a game worth downloading in over a year. I’ve tried some, but they always end up being plain and cheesy or they aren’t what is advertised in the videos. good job guys! Thank you.
I’ve never played a FIVE-BN game that deserved any less than 5 stars, this game included. I love each one more than the last, although this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me as much as the first one did. One of the very few complaints I had was how little of the beautiful rooms, or scenes were actually useable in game-play. For example, one room of a huge mansion, or a small area of an outdoor scene with only a small box accessible, or hallways and stairways that you can click on, but turn out to not have any relevance to game-play or the story, which lead the player to believe there’s a way to access them. I still very much love this series, will definitely be playing again, and will be looking forward to others in the future, I just hope they are a little more like the first 3 episodes, and less like the most recent 3.
