Iโve never felt so utterly disrespected and let down by a service provider in my life. Subscribing to FiberOne has been a nightmare that refuses to end. For several weeks! not days, weeks! Iโve been completely offline, with zero access to the internet that I paid for in advance under a three-month subscription plan. And despite this loss, there has been no compensation for the days Iโve been disconnected, no genuine solution, and worst of all, no accountability. Every single day, Iโve called FiberOneโs support lineโsometimes multiple times a day. Not only are these calls not toll-free (so yes, I am paying for their failure), Iโve had to sit on hold for long, exhausting minutes each time, only to be fed the same monotonous, scripted line: โOur engineers are on their way to you.โ That line has become an insult. Days turn into weeks, and stillโnothing. The saddest part? I genuinely believed their promises. I kept calling, hoping someone would finally take this seriously. But this has gone beyond poor serviceโitโs a complete breakdown of professionalism and care for customers. Iโm not just disappointed; Iโm angry, hurt, and baffled that any company would let a paying customer be treated this way. FiberOne, if you see this: you owe me and countless others more than empty words. We deserve service, we deserve support, and above allโwe deserve respect.
The resolution matrix with Fiberone is the worst I have experienced for any Internet service provider in lagos (Nigeria). After payment, installation took almost a month before a technician was allocated to set up the router. After 3 month of usage the link had an issue (15th Jan 2024) and till date (13th Feb 2024) there has been no communication from the company FiberOne to all affected customers on cause of the problem and no update on when it would be resolved. Talking to customer care on any channel is an absolute nightmare because you will keep getting promises of a technician visit, remote resolution and other stories. Do yourself a favor by using another ISP even if itโs expensive.
First and foremost, I don't live in Nigeria, but I ran a business in Nigeria that required regular internet service. My journey started when my staff introduced me to ANNABEL AJAYI (FIBREONE BROADBAND sales girl). The young lady misled me into making a wrong plan that is unsuitable for my business. Then it took them around two weeks to set me up, contrary to the five business days she promised. I enjoyed the internet service for 22 days, and my internet stopped working ever since then. I have spent a lot of money on my plan B internet service. I was hoping renewing my plan could reactivate the service; 6 days after I made a 31k payment to renew, the internet service is still not working. I called them from abroad with a calling card, but they quickly hung up without providing any solutions. I sent my staff to their office in Lekki Phase 1; they promised him that they would send a technician within 48 hours. It's been almost six days now; Annabel, the rude sales girl, stopped picking up my call and responding to my messages, and the customer service kept me on the phone for over 40 minutes with no solutions. BE WARNED!!! People, please stay away from FIBREONE BROADBAND; they are big-time scammers!!!
