Seriously, this app is a ridiculous idea anyway. What is work life balance if you think people at home are looking through their app to get more Work info. Then you bait and switch a clunky app for a glimpse of self expression in a poll. Then delete it. Just making people feel cheated again and again.

App seemed like a good idea to download, i get the app and see a pretty cool poll about beards, i thought to myself "hey the Coast Guard is finally being introspective about how they can improve their service I can respect this." Moments later the poll is gone. While exploring the rest of this extremely mediocre and not very useful app, I realized it is just like the rest of the the Coast Guard, made by people who still live in a decade we no longer live in, and are resistant to change to what is currently happening. A lot of potential for a great app for USCG communication and services but it's current form is not that.

Congratulations you tricksters, I fell for your trap. I was lured here by a supposed poll on CG members preference on beards. While my face does not sting and become inflamed when I shave my fair skin, the annoyance of always looking like an adolescent without facial hair has be less desirable. So I came here to vote in hopes that maybe someone up there actually cared. That the Mommandant would bless the males with beards as pony tails had been given to females. Alas, I made the fatal mistake to have any hope in the first place. From travel claims being kicked back for months, ppms not paid back, and household good lost ether, how could I have been so naive? I blame myself. This was ploy to make me download an app to convince a skeptical officer that this app has any value. Well, whoever you are. Ride on the wings of many crows who dare to dream of a better coast guard, and will never see it…….. This app is meh.
